Can we imagine a city where people form relationships with the soil underneath their feet?
LITTLE CITY GARDENS, a nonfiction feature film, presents the magnetism of a farm that existed in San Francisco from 2010-2016. The farm began with goals of engaging with a local community and a national food system, and it continued for six years as a beautiful place of work, creativity and connection. The farm was alive in the middle of the city; its rhythms were ongoing and mesmerizing. It was a place that breathed and responded to touch, and it made a lasting mark on all who stepped through its front gate.
LITTLE CITY GARDENS is a film about a powerful relationship between people and land in the most unlikely of places.
